Full Description

Working [obsolete by 2005?] chalk quarry where face workings revealing galleries "with antler pick marks on them" (or possibly PMed iron flint mining pick marks?). A 'domed chamber' was also found and bulldozed before examination according to the site owner (S1).
Probably part of larger site STN 038 and ?part of larger Lingheath (BRD 095) complex.
