Full Description

Part of WNG 006.
Area of dark soil circa 35 yards by 40 yards, partially excavated by Lady Briscoe and Mildenhall Archaeological Society. Mixed Rom & IA levels, features and artefacts found including C4 'hut' site with daub walls, 8 feet by 12 feet and possible floor level and signs of burning. A mass of charred hulled barley was found within this rectangular structure.
