Full Description

Area of dark soil adjoining N end of WNG 006 approximately 35 x 40 yards. Partially excavated by Lady Grace Briscoe and Mildenhall Archaeological Society which exposed various IA and Rom levels, features and artefacts, including 'scored ware'and Belgic type ware. Pits and an area 7 feet x 6 feet of chalk and clay with pot boilers and IA sherds (S1).
