Full Description

Diffuse scatter Med pottery over much of this field (S1). Coins of ?Edward IV and Henry VII from area centred (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) found metal detecting (S2).
Circular bronze horse-harness pendant with a butterfly motif. The segmented body has traces of white/yellow enamel, with burnished wings and border; ? C14. The butterfly probably represents the Audley family, who had land in West Suffolk at Cavenham. Found with a metal detector (S3). Also cut Irish halfpenny of Henry III, French jetton ? C15 & PMed coins (S3).
1988: Half groat of Henry VII, long cross penny, heraldic pendant with traces enamel.
1989: Cut LC halfpenny of Henry III & cut SC halfpenny of ?Henry II, cut LC halfpenny. For details see (S4).
1990: Edward I coin (S4).
Lost from HBSMR mapping with digitisation - remapped March 2009.
