Full Description

Two sherds pottery. One from below rim with rounded shoulder under neck of slight reversed S profile in section. Red-brown exterior, grey core. Hard with plentiful crushed burnt flint as filler. Slight burnishing? Other sherd also with rounded shoulder. Brown with black internal face and core. Burnt flint filler. Burnished.
Found on ploughed field surface in 1976 by C Pendleton within widespread scatter of prehistoric worked flints (S1). Also located in 1987 Fenland survey fieldwalking (details not yet available).
