Full Description

Field with scatters of flint gritted pottery, ?BA or ?IA, and some sand gritted IA pottery. Main concentrations of flint gritted at NE end of field (S1). Details in parish file.
Fieldwalking for Fenland survey confirmed flint gritted pottery scatter at NE end of field and flint scatter (BA/IA?). Details not yet available (S2). Note finds of BA metalwork from ? this and adjoining fields - see MNL 136 & MNL 132.
Similar scatters of flint gritted pottery to N, from MNL 136, and to SW from TL 6883 7848 (Fenland survey, not yet plotted).
Also elliptical fired clay sling shot, 3.9 cms x 2 cms from this or adjoining field (MNL 136) in store.
