Monument record MNL 136 - Holywell Drove, Beck Row. (BA)

At least two concentrations of flint gritted BA or IA pottery including decorated and perforated sherds (see Parish file) centreing on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1). For similar concentration in same field, see MNL 125 and in adjoining field, see MNL 129.
Frequent finds of Rom metalwork, also, tip of BA, probably basal looped, spearhead from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s); a pointed and chisel edged tracer/awl, 5.9 cms long (from either MNL 129 or 136); a pointed and chisel edged tracer/awl with bent shaft, 8.3 cms long; a small bronze two-headed rivet with internal bevels, 0.9 cms long and three sprue cap wasters. The latter objects may be Rom. All found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) with a metal detector during field survey (S2).
