Full Description

At least two concentrations of flint gritted BA or IA pottery including decorated and perforated sherds (see list in Parish file) centreing on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1). For similar concentration (and Icenian silver coin) in same field, see MNL 125 and in adjoining field, see MNL 129. Two silver Icenian coins also found:- Face-horse series, Normal B, circa AD 43-60 from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s); Pattern-horse series, circa AD 43 from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1)(S2).
Details of 1987 Fenland survey not yet available (S3).
Also elliptical fired clay sling stone, 3.9 cms x 2.1 cms from this or adjoining field (MNL 129), in store.
