Full Description
Crude crescentric flint ? sickle, unfinished? Complete, 17.8 cms x 3.5 cms x 2.8 cms, mottled/banded medium brown/grey and black flint. Cortex on part of back. Flaking is heavy and crude, possibly abandoned or unfinished sickle or sickle shaped object. Convex edge appears as work edge. Sketch in file. Found in Icklingham parish many years ago by un-named person. Formerly in possession on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), donated to SAU July 1988 (S1).
