Full Description

Formerly listed as MNL 207.
1976: Area defined (roughly) on 1:2500 map by Jack King; finds marked as `B & T, scrapers & flakes, Neo pottery - H(urst) Fen?, quern' (S5).
1982/1983: Sherds of BA or IA hard flint gritted pottery, including one rim sherd with flat rim decorated with finger impressions over short neck and rounded shoulder. Also, 1 flint scraper. Found in 1982-1983 by John King, Folly Road, Mildenhall at approximately TL 718 773 (S1)(S2). Possible mislocation of site at TL 7185/7715 found by Mike Hardy during Fenland survey in October 1987 (details not yet available)(S3).
1990: 1976 location confirmed by John King at TL 7175 7733 on map. Further finds include `lots of beaker and BA pottery' (S4).
