Full Description

1920? Small boulder clay pit beside road referred to as `Pit C' by Marr et al. Here at the base of a boulder clay which Marr refers to as Upper Boulder Clay, on and in a coarse deposit of large flints and other rocks, were several flakes and a few scrapers.

1928: Moir must have cut another section here later, for in IPSMG are two mint ? primary flakes and a scraper on a thick, natural flint, plus a few other doubtful pieces. They are marked `Boulder Clay Pit, Trial section 1928' (S1).
