Full Description

Patches of black soil, with large stones and much IA pottery found deep ploughing (S1)(R1)(S2). 17 patches excavated by Grace Briscoe (S3). Finds similar to LKH 014 scatters, pottery with "rounded shoulders, flat topped rims and finger print decoration on rim and shoulder", includes MIA scored ware?
Some of these patches appear to have been on Sahara field - `inspected Sahara & found more black spots with sherds, bones & stones in the middle of the strip between Beaker site (LKH 013) & Elder Tree' (S2, Dec 8,9). Further details in G Briscoe archive.
