Full Description

Six substantial fragments of lava mill stone found in the vicinity of a filled in pond, adjacent to the moat of Flixton Priory (FLN 002). Also found were a few pieces of unglazed medieval pottery, 6 sherds of glazed Late Medieval and Transitional Ware, 5 strongly fired peg-tile fragments and a fragment of an iron knife (S1).
