Full Description

Pot - face mask urn. Found in January 1957, deep ploughing 15-17 inches deep, on `N outskirts' of large Rom site, LKH 011. No other finds from immediate area of find. Almost complete. Grey ware, 14 inches high, frilled cordons on rim and base of neck, burnished lattice and wavy line decoration, `lionesque' mask (S1)(S2)(R1).
Another sherd from ` a light grey urn with face on shoulder was found on the S outskirts of this site' (LKH 011)(R2)(S3).
Within multiperiod site LKH 072.
