March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Several undated linear ditch features which may include a possible trackway and an enclosure are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S6). The probable rectilinear enclosure mentioned above is visible on (S3, S4 and S5).
A possible ring ditch has also been mapped to the south of the area, at TM 4462 7941, (S7), although this feature was not entirely convincing as archaeology. Several other features to the west of the area (S6) have not been mapped, as they were considered likely to be geological in origin.
Grassmarks of possible linear features and pits to the north west of the area are also visible on aerial photographs (S7), to the south of some animal feeding areas, but these features have also not been mapped as they were not entirely convincing.
