Full Description
March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear ditch cropmarks including at least one possible enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land within Henham Park (HAM 018).
The fragmentary linear ditches are aligned on a number of different orientations, suggesting that this may perhaps represent a multi-period site. These ditches may also be part of the same site represented by fragmentary ditch features to the south, recorded separately as HAM 002 and WNF 046. There are at least two curvilinear ditch features which may relate to ring ditches, but the cropmarks were faint and difficult to discern, and they have been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 18th March 2014.
