March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Nine World War Two earth-covered underground air raid shelters are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) in the field to the south of a school, Wangford Road, Reydon. An entrance passage is visible on the southern end of each shelter.They are still visible partially intact in 1955 (S3), but are now levelled.
