Full Description

Field system, somewhat fragmentary, in the vicinity of Holly Farm; including a length of trackway (approximately N-S) which turns E at its S end, and a number of short lengths of field boundary. Some distance to the S is another length of trackway E-W (S1).

Cropmarks of a fragmentary field system including a length of trackway of unknown date. There are a number of short lengths of field boundaries on a similar alignment. These field boundaries range in length from 30m to over 250m. There are 2 possible trackways, one orientated east-west which is visible for approximately 450m and a further possible trackway running north-south for approximately 400m. There are incomplete rectilinear enclosures visible, including a possible double ditched enclosure. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), January 2015. (S2-S4)
