Full Description

Ring ditch or small circular enclosure, circa 40m diameter, ?with inner sub-circular feature, circa 20m diameter (S1)(S2)(S3)(R1). Within complex of curvilinear enclosure/field boundary ditches (S3, in parish file).

Cropmarks of a concentric ring ditch which represents a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze Age date. The outer ditch is 35m in diameter and the inner ditch is 19m in diameter. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S4-S5)
