Full Description

Ring ditch, not completely circular, with dark central area, circa 20m diameter (S1)(S2). Within field system & cropmark complex HRK 020.

Cropmarks of a ring ditch which represents a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze Age date. The ring ditch is 28m in diameter and the central pit is 8m across. The outer ditch is slightly irregular and not perfecty circular like other barrows in the vicinity. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S6-S8).
