Full Description
Linear field boundaries extending to ARW 011. Cross Arwarton/Harkstead parish boundary (S1)(S2)(S3).
Cropmarks of extensive field boundaries of unknown date and trackway and an enclosure of prehistoric date. The field boundaries do not form a field system and are fragmented across the area. One trackway is adjacent to an incomplete curvilinear enclosure and is 306m in length. The curvilinear enclosure is to the south of the track and is 80m by 64m. A second smaller enclosure is located to the north of Rencepark Farm and appears to have a large dark area within it. This may represent a building platform of an earlier building associated with the farm. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S4-S7)
