Full Description

Two linear ditches of unknown date and function, centred on TM 28174243, can be seen as cropmarks on an aerial photograph taken in 1977. The shorter feature to the east may reflect the position of a small enclosure visible on the Ordnance Survey 25" 1st Edition map of circa 1884 (S1) but the longer feature, 134 m, does not appear to relate to the modern pattern of land use and may be a field boundary from an earlier pattern of land division. (S2)
See SF 3793 for a large cropmark enclosure to the south of this site.
