Full Description

Possible Medieval or Post Medieval plot boundaries are visible as cropmarks of ditches on aerial photographs, centred on TM 21023731 behind a number of buildings to the north-east of White House Farm, Chelmondiston. The linear ditches form possible rectilinear enclosures which appear to be orientated on the same alignment as the modern plot boundaries and probably represent an earlier layout of the building plots.
