Cropmarks of various features visible in a field c1.5km NNW of Dunwich, also earthworks of ridge and furrow visible in the same field in 1945

Various med and pmed metalwork found whilst metal detecting in May 1994.

This appears to be a variant of a Type 23 Pillbox, with a second storey brick structure on top of the pillbox with an anti-aircraft? Gun enplacement on the roof of the pillbox, see associated files for images.

Possible large building, ring ditch and other likely multi-period activity identified as anomalies during magnetometer survey.

Various med/pmed finds reported to Norwich Castle Museum including late med and transitional ware pottery.
