1086: A (water) mill is recorded at Capel St Mary in the Domesday survey.

Concentration of pottery sherds, some kiln wasters and tile fragments in an area about 10m square (S1).

June 1993: Metal detector finds including bronze pin, possibly altered to form small ?scoop; bronze sheet fitting pierced for attachment, might be pendant rather than nailed (cf PKM 005 1783) (S1).
