May 1989: Watching brief on development behind White Lion Hotel located possible indications of outer bailey ditch in narrow sewer trench.

Site of wind pump - fen drainage mill for pumping water up to next mill - MNL 348 and into River Lark.

Med pottery - twelve coarseware sherds and one glazed handle - found on a hearth beneath 30cm of clay under the floor of a timber-framed building (S1).

Dec 1970: Two ditches found in section of ditch cut beside new A140 road straightening scheme.

Evaluation revealed two boundary ditches, and a large pond-like feature that is possibly part of a moated site.

Med (& occasional PMed) metal detected finds (found during rally, circa 1980?).
