Monitoring for a new extension revealed a former well of probable Victorian date. The bailey ditch of Eye castle was not seen during the monitoring but it is likely that the footings weren't deep enough to reveal the ditch, if it was there.

Scatter of Medieval and Post Medieval pottery, mollusca, animal bone, daub, rim of bronze vessel, unstratified. Also Ipswich Ware.

Maybe 2 dozen tank blocks in jumble - not linear. Tide rising - exact number not known. Boulders noted on modern OS map - sea defence rather than tank blocks.

5 skeletons of children under 12 were recovered during a monitoring, they are thought to be part of the cemetery of St Peter's Hospital.
