Monument: EYE 073 24 and 26 Church Street (Monument)Monitoring for a new extension revealed a former well of probable Victorian date. The bailey ditch of Eye castle was not seen during the monitoring but it is likely that the footings weren't deep enough to reveal the ditch, if it was there.
