Full Description
1989-1990: Rom pottery from building site includes 14 `grey ware' sherds from spoil heap and concentration of three large and six small Rom sherds (+ one burnished IA? sherd) from circa 35cms below ground surface in machine cut section at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Also ?Nene Valley colour coat rim sherd (S1). Note spoil from this site deposited to north of Holmes Farm (see FRK 057).
1997: Metal detected finds of bronze brooch fragment Colchester derivative, C1, and bronze coin, 350-353 AD (S2)
April 1997: Also Roman C3-C4 bronze brooch, 12 coins, glass fragment, 3 sherds Samian ware and other miscellaneous finds (S2).
