Full Description
Bronze pocket sundial ring. Strip rivetted to form a ring (now squashed) with central groove, part of which is slit with 19 divisions marked on each side plus letters for months of year. Also R & B - further markings on inside - central dots and letters - opposite slit. Rest of outer face decorated with curvilinear pattern of small punched circles. Found metal detecting by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), also tokens of Thomas Burton of Diss, 1 sherd Med pottery (with traces of glaze), 1 abraded Rom sherd and 1 ?shale fragment.
