Full Description
"Skeleton just below ploughing level at Lackford, Suffolk. Grid map reference TL 800 & (?7) 03, to the east of Lackford Church. Romano-British sherds occurred in the soil but the skeleton may be much later. Moyses Hall Museum, Bury St Edmunds." (S1) Typed label with skeleton transferred to SAU from BSEMH. Probably A R Edwardson responsible - note his grid references are often relatively approximate.
1999: Metal detector finds from broad general area include head stud type brooch & Rom(?) fitting (S2).
Also under Un, Preh & Med finds from area (see S2) and ESax cemetery(?) just to north (LKD 045).
