Full Description

1989: Abraded bow brooch with triangular upper rings and fantail foot. Formerly enamelled. Possibly Aesica related type (although enamelled!), possibly animalesque.
1990: Three brooches (a Colchester and two Colchester derivative types) found in W part of field metal detecting (S1). Small amount of pottery sherds (some late IA - early Rom?) found fieldwalking (S2).
1994: Metalwork finds: bronze brooch fragment, Colchester derivative; bronze nail; bronze scoop; bronze brooch fragment; bronze coin, Antoninius (S1). (S3)
1995: Bronze brooches, silver coin denarius (S2).
Part of large site BRH 016, 017, 018.
