Full Description
1991: Metal detecting/fieldwalking by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) located scatter Rom pottery and coins in area circa 50yds x 25yds:- circa 10 body and 2 jar rims grey ware; 1 large body sherd shell tempered; 6 identifiable coins:- As of Vespasian (AD 69-79); As of Domitian (AD 77-78); dupondius of ?Trajan (AD 97-117); antoninius of Tetricus (AD 270-273); sestertius of ??Faustina (C1/ C2) and (small) sestertius of ?Commodus (late C2)(S1)(S2).
