Summary
February 1988: Over 500 pieces of Med pottery, mainly of C13/C14, with a few earlier, including 38 rim & 6 handle sherds, found fieldwalking by SAFG.

Full Description
February 1988: Over 500 pieces of Med pottery, mainly of C13/C14, with a few earlier, including 38 rim & 6 handle sherds, found fieldwalking by SAFG. Details and distribution map in parish file. Relatively even spread with slight concentrations to SE of field. Large quantity of brick and peg tile (date?), mainly in NE corner southwards. Also quantity of oyster shell, iron nails, iron slag and one ?quern stone (S1)(S2).
April 1993: Bronze buckle, ornate oval type, C13-C14 (S3). See also PMed.
