Full Description
Thinly dispersed scatter of coins found metal detecting - a gold noble of Edward III (1354-5), silver penny of Edward I and possibly an Elizabeth I half groat. Also part of a C14 bronze strap end buckle. Found metal detecting (S1).
March 1993: Silver short cross coin of King John 1199-1216, found metal detecting (S1).
January 1993: Metal detected bronze tripod foot ?Med; bronze stud (S2). Metal detected bronze purse frame C15 & C16 (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s); silver penny Henry III, C13 (S3).
October 1993: Further metal detected finds: silver halfpenny of Edward I, two silver pennies and one half penny, two bronze jetons - one French, one Nuremberg, C16 (S4). Misc late Med bronze objects, coins, thimble etc (S5).
1999: More metal detected finds (S6).
2003: More metal detected finds including lead pot mend, 2 coins, strap fittings and ring and buckle pin (S7).
