Full Description

Location of Rom pottery and/or artifact concentration marked on 1:10000 record map (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) as a result of parish fieldwalking survey (S1). Extent and details of finds not indicated. Note further Rom scatters to N (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
Metalwork finds recorded over a broader area include over 100 coins (up to late C4), brooches, a `propellor' type belt stiffener and an enamelled stud (S2).
1992: 55 Roman coins 3 silver C1-C2, 52 bronze C1, C3-C4, details (S4). A further 12 bronze coins C3-C4, and a colchester derivative brooch fragment, (S5).
Also IA coin.
