Full Description

Small bronze side looped spearhead in four fragments (recent breaks). Tip missing (old break). Surviving length 9.5cm, Rowlands group 1. Detailed description & drawing in (S1). Found metal detecting in ploughsoil (see below) circa `30 feet south of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in November 1992 (S2).
Found close to (circa 30m) sherd of BA pottery from river dredgings - see WGN 012. Note banks (& former dredgings) spread by bulldozer all over N half of this field so possibly derived from redeposited material rather than just ploughsoil.
Bronze dirk, FRK 014, from river dredgings circa 100m to NW. Findspot amended in HER to (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) after (S3).
