Full Description
Metal detector find. A shield-shaped lead weight with flat, plain back, and lion rampant on the front. Weight is 107.124g
3.81 oz, sketched (S1).
A quarter-pound weight, probably from a 14 ounce pound based on the Paris pound. Probably a Flemish unit used in England (cf lion rampant) for sale of fine goods imported from Bruges (S2).
