Monument record WTP 006 - Metal detector finds, including over 60 Rom coins, also pottery, mainly C3 & C4 and storage vessel ?C1-C2 and brooches (S1). (Rom)

May 1993: Metal detector finds, including 4 Rom bronze coins C3 & C4, also pottery, mainly C3 & C4 and storage vessel ?C1-C2 (S1).
June 1993: Further 4 Rom bronze coins C3-C4, also part of bronze brooch Colchester derivative, C1; a little pottery, Nene Valley C3-C4 (S2). October 1993: Silver denarius C1, 6 bronze coins C3 and C4, bronze brooch, Colchester derivative (drawn) (S3).
December 1993: Samian sherd C2/C3; pipeclay figurine, lower part of standing draped figure, with spoked wheel partially concealed (wheels usually associated with Jupiter). Made in two piece mould. ?Rom (S4).
1995: Further detector finds include 15 Rom coins (1 Ag of C1, 14 Ae of C3 & C4) & a box fitting fragment (hinged clasp)(S5).
1997: One further derivative Colchester type brooch (S5). 1994-1997: Further detector finds of 46 coins, 9 brooches and a pin and pottery. Details in (S5)(S6).
