Full Description
C9 bronze disc brooch with backward looking animal design found `several years ago in topsoil stripping for car parking for Half Moon Public House'. Findspot changed from TL988740 (which was actually the Duke of Marlborough PH) to TL 9857 7479 which corrresponds with the site of the former Half Moon PH (CP, 1/4/2011).
Very similar to example from Ixworth (R1), possibly from same mould. Later modified by insertion of small rivet behind the beast. Details and drawing in (S1).
