Full Description
Group of well preserved hollows of flint mine shafts of at least two forms to W of B1106 Brandon to Bury road. For rapid survey details see (S1). Mainly limited to Forest Block 2006 but a few exist to the S in the NE corner of adjoining Block 2014 suggesting a slight boundary change at this point. Possibly related to mine complex (BRD 136) on opposite side of road. May be part of Lingheath complex referred to by Skertchly in 1879 - see BRD 095.
