Full Description

Bronze narrow rapier blade fragment. Bent and severely damaged, probably by 19th/20th century agricultural equipment. Rusty brown patina with small patches of green invasive corrosion. Flattened mid-rib. Form of Late MBA type. Length (bent) 11.7mm, width 18mm and 17mm (opposite ends), thickness 5mm and 4mm (corresponding ends), weight 54g. From area of mainly PMed scatter - also IA, Rom and Med.
