Full Description
Boundary and track marked on C16 map notated 'The old ditch', called the Franchise Bank, dividing the Franchise of St Edmund from the Geldable. Otherwise called the Hundred Mere. It is also the Procession Way, dividing the parishes of Elmswell and Wetherden (S1). Probably Medieval, or earlier, in origin. South end joins Rom road (?) line WPT Misc (CRN 07405).
