Full Description

Metal detector find of bronze pegged spearhead of LBA date. Zig-zag decoration visible on edge of one face of one blade only, suggestion of same on other flange of same face. One peg hole missing where part of socket broken away (ancient break). One edge of this break defined by cut groove in socket (similarly patinated) probably representing later re-use. Resharpened and worn tip. Length 9.1cms, weight 31g (S1).
Found in area of other finds (Med & PMed?)(S2)(R1).
Probably from site MNL 504.
