Full Description

Scatter of pottery sherds including two Thetford type ware, mainly from W part of area and with extension south west just beyond marked area. (S1) A few coins and a coin weight found previously, information per SAU Ipswich (S2).
1986: Metal detecting finds include bronze key (S3).
Rom and ESax pottery and metalwork. Also a few PMed metalwork finds.
1994: Metal detector find by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), silver cut half penny (Temp Stephen I) Prince Henry of Scotland, 1136-42 AD. Seen by Blackburn M, at Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge (S4).
September 1996: Area of defined finds extended S following detector rally finds - details in (S5)(S6).
