Full Description

Several concentrations of tile fragments, including wasters and possible kiln furniture in two adjoining fields near Heavyland Wood. Floor, roof and box tiles are all represented, also some pottery - grey wares and Nene Valley and Oxford colour-coated wares (S1).
Probably a tile manufacturing site.
4 further rom pottery sherds found Feb 1998. S2
Also further finds in Dec 1992 including 5 rom greyware sherds and 2 tile fragments. S3
