Summary

Linear bank, circa 8m wide and 80cm high, identified during Rapid Identification Survey. Shown as field boundary on 1880s OS map (S1).The bank is also seen as an earthwork on visualised lidar data and is most likely post medieval in date.

Linear bank, circa 8m wide and 80cm high, identified during Rapid Identification Survey. Shown as field boundary on 1880s OS map (S1).

A probable post medieval boundary bank is seen as an earthwork on visualised lidar data (S2). The bank most likely relates to a post medieval boundary bank marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S3). The bank is in close relation to further banks to the south (WSW 149).
