Full Description

2007: Dispersed scatter of worked flints including several showing heavy patination and/or staining, mainly large flakes, some rolled?, which may be an important Palaeolithic group. Some re-used (see below). Finds precisely located using GPS - details in (S1).

There is mention of a "leaf shaped, flake with bifacial retouch?" Not seen, should be regarded with suspicion, but could plausibly be of LRJ date, (S3).

Also later prehistoric (Neolithic and Later Bronze Age) flint group and Roman scatter.
