Summary

A bank of a probable post medieval date is seen as an earthwork (which has since been levelled) on aerial photographs. The bank most likely relates to a post medieval boundary bank or possibly a post medieval park and garden feature related to Elveden Hall (ELV 009). The bank can be seen as an earthwork in the 1940s and has been levelled by the 1950s. The bank is not mapped on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map.

January 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A bank of a probable post medieval date is seen as an earthwork (which has since been levelled) on aerial photographs (S1). The bank most likely relates to a post medieval boundary bank or possibly a post medieval park and garden feature related to Elveden Hall. The bank can be seen as an earthwork in the 1940s (S1) and has been levelled by the 1950s (S2). The bank is not mapped on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S3).
