Summary

A section of ditch, of an unknown date, can be seen as an earthwork (which has since been levelled) on aerial photographs. The ditch may relate to a post medieval boundary ditch, a Second World War military training feature or a product of modern forestry. The bank can be seen as an earthwork in the 1940s and is presumed to have been levelled as the feature is not seen on recent (2016) aerial photographs. The ditch is not visible on the Frist Edition Ordnance Survey map.

January 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A section of ditch, of an unknown date, can be seen as an earthwork (which has since been levelled) on aerial photographs. The ditch may relate to a post medieval boundary ditch, a Second World War military training feature or a product of modern forestry. The bank can be seen as an earthwork in the 1940s (S1) and is presumed to have been levelled as the feature is not seen on recent (2016) aerial photographs (S2). The ditch is not visible on the Frist Edition Ordnance Survey map (S3).
