Full Description

Silver coins found metal detecting in field W of church.. One Iceni (Mack 429) and one Cunobelin (Mack 218) (S1).
1989: Gold stater, worn. Obverse: apparently blank, reverse: horse to r. with branch & pellet in ring below & extreme top of curving inscription, probably ADDE (domarus). Curved ornament in front, branched. Centre very worn. Similar to Mack 268/Van Arsdell 1635-1. Photographed (S2). Fieldwalking produced a few sherds of hand-made pottery (sand tempered and fine flint tempered fabrics)(S3).
